Stelai was born from the union of Antonio Alba and Simona Frenna, husband and wife in life and business partners, who decided to combine their expertise in various fields to create a new company.
On the one hand, Antonio Alba, together with his family, has successfully run a hotel complex for nearly twenty years, receiving several tourism awards, such as the 2017 International Architecture and Design Award for the Alba Palace Hotel, which was selected from among 177 projects examined, and its selection in 2018 by architect Mario Cucinella, curator of the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
On the other hand, Simona Frenna has dedicated her entire life to the study of dance, music, and theater. After graduating from the Umberto Spadaro Drama School of the Teatro Stabile di Catania, she joined prestigious theater companies early on, playing leading roles alongside such celebrated names as Marina Malfatti, Anna Mazzamauro, Giuseppe Pambieri, Simona Marchini, Anna Malvica, Pippo Pattavina, and more.
